Marcus was in the window of a local shelter, terrified and in severe shelter decline.  He was close to being deemed un-adoptable (which is the shelter death sentence).   He has become a beautiful, complicated, scared but brave soul.  Later, he met Princess, who had been wandering the streets of Nogales, Mexico.  While they sometimes don't see eye to eye, they're inseparable.
